9 sexual fetishes more common than you thought (part 2)

Sexual fetishes

As we said in the first part of this series of articles, everyone has a fetish that they hide away in a corner of their head. If yours isn’t on the previous list, it’s likely to be among those mentioned below. But before we get to that, you should know that fetishism refers to sexual arousal triggered by a non-sexual part of the body, notably an object or gestures and attitudes. In some cases, it’s practised for the first time, unexpectedly, during a lovemaking session.

At this precise moment, the person concerned realizes that this new sexual arousal is not totally foreign to him, since it already existed in his subconscious. But for the majority, fetishism comes with the desire to explore all aspects of sexuality to the full. In either case, the tuning fork everyone agrees on is pleasure. Discover 9 fetishes that are far more common than you might think, for a fulfilling sexuality.

Sexual fetishes 1

Sitophilia

Using food to heighten sexual pleasure, an act that has a name: sitophilia. The word may be foreign to you, but not the practice itself. This fetish is by far the best-known, due to its many variations. In practice, a sitophile will use anything edible as a sexual arousal. Coating a part of your partner’s body with chocolate, yoghurt or honey is the most classic form of this fetish. Inserting a cucumber or banana into your partner’s orifices is another. But sitophilia can go even further, for example drinking water from a woman’s penis. All these forms of sitophilia have the same objective: to bring pleasure to its climax.

Hand bias

You’ve already heard of podophilia, also known as foot fetishism. Hand partialism is similar in some respects. This well-known fetish manifests itself in a strong sexual attraction to the hands. If you want to go deeper into the subject, there are several variations. While some prefer to limit themselves to observation, others add touching, licking and kissing. Practitioners of this fetish explore emotional connection and sexual pleasure.

Candaulism

This increasingly popular fetish ranks just behind sadomasochism, according to many reviews on sexuality forums. By definition, candaulism is the act of sharing your partner with another person. Generally, this practice is male, but the newcomer can be male or female. It’s a kind of consensual infidelity. In practice, the lovemaking involves your partner and his or her lover. You’re just a spectator, watching a scene that gives you as much pleasure as if you were an actor. This is not to be confused with swinging, where you exchange your partner with one or more other people.

Sexual fetishes 3

Eproctophilia

There are those who ask their partners to take a bath before a romp, and those who prefer the smell of sweat. In both cases, it’s a well-known fetish known as eproctophilia. It translates into arousal triggered by a smell. Nauseating or not, as long as your partner’s smell makes you salivate, you’re considered an eproctophile.

Plaster fetish

Bizarre as it may be, this sexual fetish is very common. Many people are attached to it and get off on it. Rest assured, this is not the plaster you find on your walls, but rather medical plaster. There are two versions of this fetish: those who are excited by the idea of being plastered, and those who are attracted to people who wear plaster. The second category is the better known. Making love to someone with a cast on their leg increases their excitement. This is made possible by the fact that the partner is half-immobilized and vulnerable.

Sigmatophilia

There’s something very exciting about piercings and tattoos – a well-known fetish. Sigmatophilia is based on a fetish for modifications to a person’s body. Tattoos and piercings are just the classic part of this vast concept. This fetish also includes body implants such as contact lenses. These modifications generate excitement that enhances sexual pleasure.

The golden shower

Another fetish that’s been on the rise for some time now. Ondinism, or golden showers for the more sensual, is characterized by theinclusion of urine in sexual romps. If the thought of it puts you off, it’s probably because you haven’t tried it yet. Lovers of this fetish either pee on each other or pee unilaterally. This can happen during foreplay or during penetration. The warm, moist sensation of urine brings the excitement to a climax. The taste of urine also contributes to the adrenalin rush. But above all, it’s the taboo surrounding the golden shower that makes it special.

Sexual fetishes 2

Asthenophilia

Asthenophilia is one of the few fetishes that are not linked to tangible things. If the golden shower is characterized by urine, this fetish concerns a state of illness. Practitioners develop an intense sexual desire when they’re ill. A simple cold with a few aches and pains can quickly provoke unprecedented ecstasy. However, contagious illnesses such as the flu are an exception to this fetish.

Transvestism

Admittedly, clothes don’t make the man, but when it comes to sexuality, they can quickly increase desire. This is what characterizes transvestism, or the desire to be momentarily in someone else’s skin. This fetish translates into the desire to put on clothes of the opposite sex, for intense eroticism. Note that transvestism is limited to clothing and accessories of the opposite sex. It has nothing to do with transidentity. A transvestism fetishist will therefore be more aroused by wearing a thong and a feminine wig, without identifying with this gender.

Norms evolve and the tolerance threshold recedes over time, so remember to adapt. Here, then, is a good list of well-known fetishes that provide enough pleasure for the daring people who practice them. Find the ones that suit you and break the lock on ecstasy.
