At 49, Naomi Campbell is as sculptural as ever. With not a wrinkle to be seen, a body many young women would envy and a career even longer than the catwalks she’s walked, it’s time to pay tribute.
Naomi Campbell is the first woman to appear at least 6 times on a UK GQ cover, and has appeared on more covers than anyone else except Daniel Craig. And that’s not all… Modern Milf reveals all about the black panther.
December 1994 – Naomi Campbell’s first GQ cover
The 24-year-old supermodel’s first British GQ cover was selected from a series of photographs by Richard Avedon for the 1995 Pirelli calendar. April 2000 – “Bitch? Me?”
For her second GQ cover, our 31-year-old black beauty was photographed by Fabrizio Ferri and interviewed by Marta Citacov in a six-page article entitled “The Truth About the World’s Wildest Model”. Commenting on her cover photo, she said, “I’m not embarrassed by nudity – an artistic nude can be sublime.”
April 2007 – Interview with Piers Morgan and Naomi Campbell
Piers Morgan interviewed the young woman for her third cover in April 2007. In February 2001, Piers Morgan was editor-in-chief of the Daily Mirror. She had published photos of her leaving a Narcotics Anonymous meeting in London. Campbell later sued Morgan and the Mirror, resulting in Morgan’s dismissal. Over 22 pages, which also included a 14-page photo shoot with Steven Klein! Piers and Naomi ended their enmity and discussed sex, drugs and rock’n’roll. They showed why she was the ultimate supermodel.
